Application of XML to the Hybrid System Structure of C/S and B/S

Because of the nature of its simplicity, openness, extensibility, flexibility and self-describility, XML bring new energy into Internet. Particularly, as an open standard for data representation, XML brings new possibilities and capabilities for data exchange. This paper introduces XML and its key features, presents an XML-based data exchange prototype of C/S and B/S hybrid structure.
