Design and Implementation of Data Communication Interface Among Medical Equipments Based on Bluetooth Technology

Objective To develop a wireless data communication and controlling system between medical devices based on bluetooth technology.Methods According with Bluetooth host controller interface(HCI) specification,the system adopted double micro-controller mode,and was connected with Bluetooth module through the HCI RS-232 physical interface,to realize data communication between medical devices.A serial port was used as the power supply.Results The System could realize data and file transmission within 10 meters,with a bit error rate less than 10-6 and a serial communication speed up to 38.4 kbit/s.Conclusion The high stability,small volume and light weight make the system meet the requirements in practice.
