A new visual neurobehavioral function test instrument

Xiang Ming · 2000

Objective A visual neurobehavioral function test instrument which can be operated by subject is developed. The test results of this instrument are demonstrated by experiment. Methods The hardware structure of the instrument is controlled by a single chip microcomputer. After one of four LEDs flash frequencies is distinguished, the subject makes a response to press a corresponding key. The instrument automatically gives the score of visual neurobehavioral function. Results Through the experiment from day to light, we find that the score at 09∶00 is obviously higher than the score at 20∶00 and at 03∶00 ( P 0 01). Conclusions This instrument can sensitively detect the changes of the subject′s visual neurobehavioral function. It is especially suitable for popular using in various location.
