On the mean value of Dedekind sums over half interval

As an application of estimation for character sum,this paper studies the mean value of Dedekind sums over half interval by using the mean value theorems of Dirichlet L-function as well as the properties of character sum,and gives an relatively accurate asymptotic formula.It provides a new idea for studying this kind of the mean value of sums.In addition,the estimation is of more general condition.
