It discusses the working law of lightning arrester,analyses the factors that influence grounding resistance value from strata,topography,climate,moisture and season,introduces the influence of grounding objects to grounding resistance value,concludes the technical requirements of lightning receiving service,overhead power line and down lead bar and the method of reducing grounding resistance value,so as to achieve the goal of lightning protection.
