Hyperchaotic Sequences Based Block Encryption Ciphers and Its Application

By use of the butterfly effect and hard-to-predict characteristics of hyperchaos,a new idea of improving the block encryption ciphers based on hyperchaotic sequence is proposed.DES(Data Encryption Standard) and AES(Advanced Eneryption Standard) algorithms are implemented in this way. Examples are given on the application of the improved algorithms to the image and text encryption.comparative analysis is made between the improved and conventional algorithms in terms of the security and anti-attack ability.The study has shown that the integration of block encryption cipher and hyperchaotic sequence technology can effectively enhance the security and anti-attack performance of the system.
