Approach for Automatic Generation of Ink and Wash Style Image Based on Real Scene

An approach for automatic generation of ink and wash style image based on real scene is presented aimed at the special artistic effects of ink and wash painting. A static real scene image which is suitable for Chinese ink and wash effect can be converted to an art image with ink wash style automatically. With this approach,the image is preprocessed by color space conversion and channel separation. After implemented processes such as image erosion,anisotropic diffusion,silhouette extraction and regulating the parameters,the image processing of ink and wash style can be finally realized. The experimental results demonstrate that this approach achieved good effect in Chinese ink and wash simulation.
