Blueprint of construction project management information system based on BIM

Under the influence of modern information technology,project management has gradually changed to the management of project information.Meanwhile,the means of traditional information communication cannot satisfy modern large-medium projects.The existing problems were summarized according to the research of project management information system and practical application.The concept,characteristics and application prospects of the building information model(BIM) were introduced.The advantages of project management information system based on BIM were analyzed.Its structure and nine modules were presented.Finally,the system operation throughout the life cycle was discussed.
