Analysis on technologies for providing Ethernet services over MSTP

With the rapid development of data services, the technology of transporting Ethernet services over MSTP has aroused general concerns. This paper firstly introduces the three main kinds of methods of transporting Ethernet services over MSTP, and then discusses the key technology used by new generation MSTP. Finally analyzes the performance of MSTP and summarizes its development trends.
