Study and application of dynamic database model

The National Fundamental Geospatial Information Dynamic Database (NFGIDD) is a typical dynamic database with specific characteristics, such as huge data, spatial distribution and temporal distribution. The existing models for spatiotemporal database can't meet these demands.Based on the analysis of the structure and efficiency of current spatiotemporal database models, a new model Dynamic VersionDifference Model is introduced in this paper. The application of this model in NFGIDD shows its great ability to describe and manage complicated geodata, which is also more convenient for spatial data querying.
