The Initial Study of SoS Effectiveness Analysis in SoS Combat Simulation

Developing war or operation in the system of systems(SoS) combat perspective is a new thinking to response to Revolution in Military Affairs. The paper firstly analyzes the importance of the SoS combat simulation in the information age. Then the concepts and the theory of measures of effectiveness(MOEs) of system are analyzed and the theory of SoS effectiveness analysis is proposed. As follows, a framework of SoS effectiveness analysis with the method of exploratory modeling and analysis is given. Finally, it introduces an example of SoS effectiveness analysis in a theater model.
