A BSCB(Bertalmio-Sapiro-Caselles-Bellester) model is presented based on nonlocal means, and it is used to inpaint images. The basic idea of the model is to extend the isophotes of the boundary of the inpainting region to the repaired area.During the process, the nonlocal means inpainting along the isophotes are performed,so as to keep the direction of the edge and the texture. The experiments show that this model not only has the same repair effects as the BSCB model and the TV(total variation) model, but also, and more importantly,it can better preserve an image texture and image edge information.
