Design and Implementation of Fast Reconnect Mechanism in Wireless Environment

This paper presents a FRTD (fast reconnect for temporary disconnection) mechanism based on the result of analyzing disconnection in wireless environment. And, through adding context ID into the service context, it extends the GIOP protocol to implement the FRTD mechanism in CORBA. The results of implementation and application show the effectiveness of FRTD mechanism.
