Query Optimization in Object Oriented MIS of Railway Station

In this paper,a new query method which is based on generalization hierarchy in Object Oriented Database(OODB) is proposed. We suggest a sort of Object Signature which consists of the Structure Signature and the Reference Signature,eliminating respectively objects which do not match with target class and objects which do not match with predict class. We give performance analysis which indicates that this method can decrease the number of access on disk I/O.
