Analysis and harnessing of air compressor noise in paper mills

The composition of noise source of paper mill compressor and the characteristic of noise spectrum were analyzed. The basic control methods of compressor noise were introduced, namely noise reducing, noise absorption, noise insulation should be used in a comprehensive way according to different places of noise source. The necessity and effect of noise harnessing of air compressor in paper mills were verifi ed with an practical example of compressor noise control.
