Modulation and Demodulation of SDPSK

The modulation characteristics of the SDPSK signal are analyzed and the methods of base-band coding-decoding and timing synchronization proposed.The base-band coder/decoder consists of switches,time delay elements and logic elements.And the timing clock is directly generated through operating the base-band signals,and the PLL(phase lock loop) is not needed.So the proposed methods are adaptable to hardware implementation.The simulation results show that the methods are correct.In addition,the performance of the demodulator is tested,and the limitation and application scope are discussed.
