Fault diagnosis expert system of inertial navigation system based on CLIPS and.NET platform

A fault diagnosis expert system based on the fault tree analysis of the Inertial Navigation System is introduced.This method can effectively improve the performance of the expert system which was realized by.NET platform and CLIPS.Since the fault tree analysis was not only a kind of knowledge representation pattern but also an inference method.The structure and function of the Inertial Navigation System was constructed into the fault tree model.This would overcome the knowledge acquisition bottleneck of traditional expert system,and ensures the integrality of the diagnosis knowledge.Using CLIPS’s inference engine and Rete algorithm,the system effectively resolves several key problems of the traditional expert system,such as simple inference,slow control strategy,match conflict and combination explosion,and make full use of the specialty of its rapid and effective diagnosis.Several key technologies were introduced,such as how to connect.NET with CLIPS,how to deal with the inference control,and how the users communicate with.NET.
