The Design of Patient Tracking and Positioning System Based on ZigBee

A Tracking and Positioning system for patient is designed based on the ZigBee network and its positioning function is built on the integrated RSSI engine with reference nodes. The architecture and hardware design are represented, meanwhile, the analyzing of working principle of the positioning engine and its software are discussed as focus. And two improvements are submitted for the positioning engine.
