A Direction Image Inpainting Algorithm Based on Fast Marching Method

Fast marching method(FMM) can overcome the shortcomings of traditional method like slow repair speed,fuzzy of linear structure and others,but it can't keep the edge very well.This paper combines with the gradient direction histogram to select the direction of the surrounding pixels for the sake of the repair process in strict accordance with isophote.This method can maintain the edge and some rules texture better,while retain the advantages of the FMM algorithm.
