Terrain Data Object Storage Mode and Its Declustering Method
YU Zhan-wu · Acta Geodaetica et Cartographica Sinica · 2008
According to the object-based storage, the terrain data is divided into tiles in terms of the two-dimensional grid plane, and map each tile to an object stored in the object-based storage system.Furthermore, according to the location relativity of terrain tiles,a terrain data declustering method based on algebraic techniques using pair of base vectors is proposed to distribute the terrain tiles in multiple object-based storage devices, fully using the parallelity of object-based storage. And declustering module is used to reduce the complexity of operation in the declustering method. This method enables every object-based storage device only accessed no more than once and guarantees the invariableness of response time on a certain extension of query windows.
