Scheme of Symmetrical Interleaver Based on Quadratic Congruence and Odd-even Protection

This paper presents a symmetrical interleaver algorithm based on quadratic congruence and odd-even protection.Quadratic congruence sequence can be sorted with symmetrical structure by shift a half period.The symmetrical design can save the creating time lag and the hardware resource.The design based on odd-even protection improves the equal protection of check sequence.From the result of emulational experiment,the symmetrical interleaver algorithm protects check sequence by odd-even protection structure compared with the algorithm mentioned in paper[3].The improved structure also bring about 0.4dB in the performance of the interleaver,and it can be adopted in other different interleaver algorithm.
