Spectrum Arbitrary of DDS and Its Application in the Waveform Generation

Direct digital frequency synthesis technology has the advantages of high frequency resolution and fast frequencyhopping rate.Firstly,the paper introduces the working principle of DDS,and then analyzes the output spectrum of DDS and the methods for improving spur.Finally the design scheme of DDS technology applied in the signal generation is given,and the application of FPGA device in arbitrary waveform generator based on DDS technology is discussed in detail and the VHDL programs for compressing waveform data are given.The result indicates that the system has flexible operation and good reliability,and has been implemented easily,so it can meet the people′s continual elevated requires.
