General Instrument Description and Application Based on ATML

In this paper,XML and ATML are researched and the Schema model of general instrument description by IVI foundation issued is analyzed.Based on the message of instrument that the automatic test system needs,the Schema model of instrument description is simplified.Then the simplified model is got.At last,it takes the example of universal meter,the model is applied and certificated.
