Image Retrieval Method Based on Color and Contourlet Histogram

To improve the quality of image retrieval,this paper uses Harris color point extractor to extract Color Points Of Interest(CPOI),and designs annular color histogram.Based on Contourlet transformation of images,texture information of images is extracted by using Contourlet histogram and the rotation invariance is improved.Simulation experimental results show this method can retrieve colorful images fastly and accurately.
