Energy Hole Avoidance Strategy for Nonuniform Distribution Wireless Sensor Network

Zeng Zhi-weng · Jisuanji gongcheng · 2010

The data and energy load of each position in Wireless Sensor Network(WSN) is analyzed. A novel nonuniform node distribution strategy is proposed, whose core is uniformly deploying working sensors which can satisfy the demand of monitoring in all the place of the network and more relay sensors in the place closer to the sink. These relay sensors just transmit data but not generate data. The setting of the optimal transmission radius is analyzed. Experimental results show this strategy can not only debase energy depletion but make the network lifetime extended.
