Design of Digital Video Signal Capture Controller

On the basis of the analysis of Digital Video Standards and Color Spaces Transformation Theory,a reusable controller IP is implemented based on the AMBA System Bus.The image capture controller is researched and developed by the Synopsys EDA tool VCS.Presented by the controller diagram,each sub-module is described in detail.Finally,the simulation results are given.On the verification phase,ALTERA Stratix2 FPGA is used.A real-time image capture and processing are finally completed by adding OV7640 video data acquisition chip and LCD display.
