Turbine Fault Diagnosis Method Based on the Vector Similarity Measure of Vague Sets

Based on the vague set theory, the author proposed a new vector similarity measure method and applied it to the fault diagnosis of turbine. Through the vector similarity measure value between sampling database and the detecting data of turbine, it can rank the order of the measure values. It means that the bigger the measured value, the higher possibility of vibration faulty of turbine exists. The actual examples have demonstrated the effectiveness of this diagnosis method.
