An Analysis on the Rhyme of "Er" and Retroflexion

This paper focuses on the experimental analysis of rhyme of er and retroflexion by using spectrographic techniques and presents new arguments against the results of previous studies.Firstly,this paper confirms the existence of two parallel ways of pronouncing: in the process of pronouncing,one is that the tongue rolls gradually,the other is that the tongue first rolls and then pronounces.Secondly,it confirms that only one phoneme requires rolling tongue in the process of pronouncing retroflexion.Thirdly,it confirms that the pronunciation of that forms retroflexion is same as the rhyme of er.
