Research and Improvement About HFC Network Security

We analyze the character of the HFC network and indicate its proble m in security. Based on the analysis of the BPI and BPI+, we bring forward a sch eme for improving the security in communication by employing PGP. Finally, the p roblems that still exist are pointed out.
