A Survey on Medical Image Segmentation Methods

Medical image segmentation is a key issue to determine whether the medical images can provide a reliable basis for clinical diagnosis and treatment.In this paper,on the basis of concluding domestic and foreign medical image segmentation literature,we overview the basic theory and characteristics of commonly used medical image segmentation methods,and summarize the advantages,disadvantages and application effect of the various methods.
