This pape r presents the model of arc voltage and the formula of calculation of arc curren t based on a large number of experiments of arc short circuit in low voltage ne tworks.The formula can be used in calculating the setting value of the protecti on device in low voltage networks in order to interrupt the arc fault for sure .
