With the development of digital processing and network， copyright protection is becoming more and more important． Multimedia watermarking technology has evolved very quickly as a new method for copyright protection during the last years． In this paper， the basic concepts of video watermark are illustrated with proposed several watermarking methods． In this paper， a few remarks are made about the future development in video watermarking technology．
