The Comparison of Channel Estimators in MC DS-CDMA Systems

This paper introduces several multi-carrier code division multiple access(CDMA) systems,and builds the system model of multi-carrier direct sequence-code division multiple access(MC DS-CDMA).lease-square(LS),linear minimum mean-squared error(LMMSE) and maximum-likelihood(ML) channel estimators are investigated in MC DS-CDMA systems.The performances of mean square error(MSE) and bit error rate(BER) are evaluated.The simulating results show that LS estimators have simple implementation and poor performance.LMMSE estimators have large computations and their performances are better than LS estimators and that the performances of ML estimators are the best in the three cases and the computations are lower than LMMSE estimators.
