Digital beamforming algorithms based on population method

The high performance of spatial division and low transmitting power would be obtained if beamforming algorithms are adopted in mobile communication.The speed of convergence and calculation should be taken into consideration,because when a mobile user passes quickly over cells,the change of his position is large.If beamforming algorithms react slowly or even fail to detect the change,the system may lose the track of mobile user.In this paper,the requirements beamforming algorithm in mobile system are introduced and beamforming algorithms based on population method are analyzed.
