Design and application of the reservoir area flood control information system

The design scheme and application of the Reservoir area flood control information system are introduced. The component and function of the system, the purpose of software design, program development tools and such are included. Hie system has been put in use in Chongqing flood control departments since 2001. It is provided with the characteristics of reliable operation, easy control and good stability as the application practice proved. The accuracy and efficiency of information transmission have been improved and the work tense of the operator on duty has been mitigated after the application of the system.
