Windows Installer and Its Usage

Windows Installer,introduced by Microsoft,is a means of installing, p ublishing and supervising software.Its functions include publishing,installing, revising,updating and removing software.Thus,it becomes a better solution to the problem originally existed in the pattern of publishing software.A vivid descri ption on characteristics,construction, operation process and realization ways of Windows Installer is given.A basic procedure for publishing software by means o f Windows Installer is shown.
