Optimized Algorithm for Information-sharing Coefficients of Federated Filter

In view of the limitations of Carlsons approach, this paper presented an optimized selection algorithm for information-sharing coefficients of the federated filter. The algorithm can improve the accuracy and soft-fault detecting sensitivity of local filters. Moreover, it is proved that there has no effect on the global filtering optimality for the federated filter. Numerical simulation results are presented for a dual-SINS/GPS integrated navigation system. These results demonstrated the validity and feasibility of this algorithm. Meanwhile, it answered the three questions presented by the paper of 揇iscussion about Study on the Theory of Federated Filter.
