Influence factor weights analysis of rock and soil earthquake damages:a case study from sand liquefaction
Hongshuai Liu · 2012
A method of obtaining the weights of rock and soil earthquake damage influence factors using sand liquefaction as an example was discussed herein.First, subjective and objective weights of soil liquefaction influence factors were calculated respectively using the analytic hierarchy process and the rough set theory.Second, the preference coefficient of weights was determined by comparing the prediction precision of subjective and objective weights. Then, the integrated weight was calculated by the preference coefficient of weights. The method has a high precision with the prediction accuracy of comprehensive weights up to 91.7%.The integrated weight could balance the effect of subjective and objective factors and improve the accuracy of prediction.Through the influence factor weights analysis,it is found that earthquake action has greater effect on liquefaction than soil burial environment and soil characteristic, and the most dominant factor that influence sand liquefaction is the effective stress, whose weight reaches 0.205.
