The Research of Software Process Defects Management Based on Design of Six Sigma Standard

Customer demand as the core,data-based,starting from the software quality metrics,the model of software process defects management based on design for six sigma is presented.The model of the process includes five parts: identify,define,optimize,track,eliminate.The method is applied to software process management in software companies.Six Sigma zero defects of design and management concepts is applied to every stage of software development.Software defects can be effectively reduced and software quality can be improved.The approach provided a continuous improvement of the specific measurement tool which can be another theoretical support for software process management.
