Investigation and Design of the Repeater Uplink System with Automatic Gain Control for WCDMA

This paper introduces the uplink system with automatic gain control for WCDMA frequency selective repeater. Based on the system function diagram, the algorithm of analog automatic gain control are analyzed.The results of ADS simulations show that the proposed system is performed well, which has the characteristic of large pass band gain, high adjacent channel power ratio (ACPR) and steady controllable output, and that it can be used for WCDMA.
