Covering Rough Set Model Based on Variable Precision

The rough set theory of Pawlak is based on the equivalent relation,but there are plenty of non-equivalent relations in the real world,such as the thing allowing certain errors in classification.In this case,the equivalent relation in Pawlak’s origninal rough set theory is still of restriction on many applications.In order to expand rough set application space and to generalize the classical rough set model,the covering rough set model based on variable precision was presented,some relevant important concepts were defined.Some corresponding properties of rough set approximation operators were discussed by applying axiomatic approach.
