Several kernel issues of condition-based maintenance technology for hydropower units such as: its core and aim,artificial intelligence,individuality and universality of units,good condition standards are explored according to current situation of condition-based maintenance for domestic hydraulic generator.Focal points of this technology are also pointed out.Healthy developing idea of condition-based maintenance technology for hydropower units is put forward based on the practical needs of hydropower plant and practical technical level.
