Design and Implementation of AES Crypto Coprocessor Based on FPGA

This paper design a crypto coprocessor that implements AES algorithm based on the VirtexII family FPGA produced by Xilinx Inc.In this design we make best use of the features and optimize the implementation of AES algorithm.Experiment proves this Implementation reach higher relatively data throughput at little cost of circuit resources.The crypto coprocessor offers interface for ARM and implementations coprocessor instructions for decryption/encryption and input/output of data,these instructions expand the ARM instructions set, and improve embedded systems’ efficiency that deal with decryption and encryption ,and come true the security of data transmission.
