The Application of Unscented Kalman Filtering Method in Air-to-Sea Bearing-Doppler Only TMA by Single Observer

The problem of target motion analysis based on bearing and Doppler measurements(BDO-TMA)is studied contrastively by means of unscented kalman filtering(UKF)and extended kalman filtering(EKF)algorithms.The discrete-time nonlinear filtering models are formulated with a typical scenario of single observer passive air-to-sea BDO-TMA.The results of monte carlo simulations have demonstrated that UKF is more feasible to the above background by virtue of its favorable behaviors with higher accuracy and stronger convergence.
