Design of a Monitoring System for Northfinder Using RS422

The design of a monitoring system based on the communication of DSP and PC is introduced in this paper. Since the RS422 standard transfers data in differential way, data communication can be implemented at a long distance. The monitoring system based on RS422 makes PC monitor and controls the northfinder working hundreds of meters away.
