This paper described the concept of network backup system and its system structure, firstly;and then we choose a HASH algorithms, from reality, we applied the HASH algorithm to improve backup strategy, balance and enhance the backup and recovery efficiency, streamline processes and improve data security, reduce data consistency, improve the overall performance of the system. Finally, from the experiments in 100M Ethernet environment, it is concluded that the speed of this network backup system is higher than that of FTP in our test environment.
