The Application of the Rough Set Theory in the Diagnosis of Computer Net Faults

This paper points out that in the diagnosis of computer net faults a variable set of MIB (which can reflect the net information amount) favorable to classification can be achieved by using the Rough Set theory, and decision-making rules of classification can thus be obtained. Results of experiments indicate that this method is effective in recognizing the character of computer net faults and in improving the correctness of classifying faults.
