RFID is a rise of non-contact automatic identification technology in the 1990s,it reflected energy by electromagnetic waves to automatically identify the target audience and get the relevant data information. With the advantages of non-contact,fast read and write speeds,anti-interference ability,easy to operate. This paper first introduces the principle of RFID technology,advantages,mine personnel positioning system design in the basis of the RFID technology,the system consists of two parts of the hardware and software systems. Hardware system includes tags,readers,intrinsically safe uninterruptible power supply,network communications equipment,management server and terminal location information for the identification and acquisition of underground personnel,locomotive,and collected data via a wired communication network sent to the location management software system analysis and processing. The software system is used to complete the data collection,processing,display and storage,intuitive understand the scope of activities of the underground mine management through the graphical interface of the software or text list. Mine harsh environment,the air is humid,strong corrosive and electromagnetic interference,and distribution of a wide range of data collection points,in accordance with the actual situation,taking into account the reliability of the system,real-time and scalability departure.
