Information identification of water distribution networks based on Delphi

The methods for identifying the three kinds of information of water distribution networks are proposed based on Delphi 7.The incidence matrix can be identified by comparing the nodes' coordinates with those of pipe endpoints.The basic loops can be obtained by judging the colors around each pipe after district dyeing,which is implemented by calling for Windows API functions.And the direction of a pipe in a loop can be determined by calculating the polygon area as every basic loop can be regarded as a polygon.These proposed methods are accurate and easy to program,and they can dramatically improve the accuracy of network calculation,so the network simulation and control can be ensured as well.
