Feature parameter analyzing of human pupil for iris recognition

Define pupil as ellipse,a algorithm is presented to determine the parametric characterization of pupil.Two pairs of point on the ellipse are used to determine the location of the center of the ellipse,orientation,and the two semi-axis.Extensive experimental results show that the proposed algorithm is capable of detecting ellipse feature with an excellent accuracy and efficiency.It can obtain the parameter of ellipse through discontinuous edge. And last,comparisons between proposed algorithm and other approaches for edge detection are presented.
